Hello, my name is Melissa Hughes.

I have a passion to promote real heart-connected relationships between people and the God who loves them so much! It is my hope that my writing encourages people to go deep and get real, allowing God to work in the underground places. But let’s not stop there. Let’s grow together, erupt from the landscape, and become fruitful boughs as we influence the next generation to do the same!

Who am I, anyway? Well, I live in beautiful upstate NY with my hard-working husband. I’m a mother to four and a Mimi to six. I’ve been a teacher at a Christian school for almost thirty years and principal there for more than ten. I teach middle school Math and Science- so now you know just how crazy and amazing I am. I’m an author of one book, which you can find on Amazon, and I’m working on my next. Thanks for asking.
